About the Film's Director
Rakan Mayasi was born in Celle, Lower Saxony, Germany. He studied film under the late Abbas Kiarostami at the Asian Film Academy in South Korea. He is the director of the shorts Sea Sonata (2010), Roubama (2012), and Rust (2013). Bonboné (2017) is his latest work.
